ArtiQ has completed two projects in primary care in Belgium: Aisah in collaboration with AstraZeneca Belgium and Slimme spirometrie in collaboration with KULeuven, funded by the province Vlaams-Brabant. The primary aim of both projects was to gain a better understanding of the spirometry landscape and to confirm the ability of ArtiQ.Spiro to support general practitioners (GPs) and other primary care healthcare providers in performing and interpreting spirometry.
The results of these projects were presented during a webinar titled “Smart Spirometry,” hosted in collaboration with AstraZeneca Belgium. The webinar explored the crucial role of spirometry in primary care, the impact of Artificial Intelligence on workflow, and the potential for more accurate COPD diagnosis in high-risk patients. Pneumologist Prof. Dr. Wim Janssens and Prof. Dr. Jan Verbakel from the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at KULeuven shared their expertise and experience during the webinar.
