ArtiQ is a young, dynamic and innovative spin-off company of the University of Leuven (Belgium). The company was founded early 2019 by four committed founders with an extensive history in respiratory medicine, medical devices, and artificial intelligence.
From their multidisciplinary backgrounds and five years of research, the founders identified the value that novel technologies could bring to all parties in the respiratory world: patients, doctors, healthcare systems, and the industry. ArtiQ aims to support doctors in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of respiratory diseases.
With our first artificial intelligence-based software, ArtiQ.PFT, we support the interpretation of pulmonary function tests to improving the diagnostic environment for lung diseases. The software has been validated elaborately at UZ Leuven, where the software is used to create a report for every patient and has been used for close to 40.000 patients since the implementation in February 2018.
